Bell Pine Tree Towers coming to Township of Muskoka Lakes

Cell towers are essential in rural areas for the provision of cell phone and internet service.
This May, Bell will be constructing seven cell towers disguised as pine trees,  in the township of Muskoka Lakes, Ontario.  Pine Tree towers  are also to be erected in Breezy Point Road, Foot’s Bay, Little Lake Joseph, Port Carling East, Port Sandfield and Walker’s Point East.
A total of 20 towers are planned. The steel and fibre glass towers will be between 25 and 29 meters tall. The towers are to be strategically placed to blend in with existing trees.
